All you do is fill the globe up with water and place it in your plants soil. They even come in little shapes like hearts, birds and my favorite, swans!

I love knowing my houseplants will be taken care of while I’m gone on vacation! So don’t worry about how much time off you’re taking this year because these self-watering spikes will help keep your garden alive and well in your absence!
Spikes where you control the drip are able to be adjusted. For a 20 second drip, a 1 liter bottle should drip for about 5 days, which should be perfect for a 7-10 day trip, depending on how often you water your plants.

Another benefit is you have a much larger water reserve to draw from. The larger the reserve the longer it will run.
One key thing to remember about these however is that the level of the reservoir has to be below where the plant being watered once started otherwise it will syphon out until both levels are equalized.
